It definitely would've been nice to see Han, Luke, and Leia together again. The Dynamics of Star Wars will change as time goes on...that's just the nature of generations. Nothing will ever take away the sentiment and significance that Star Wars had on those of us who grew up to this amazing story.
They way they dismantled Star Wars has everything to do with their ideology in the real world. Cohesive family units are frowned upon these days in Hollyweird. Strong, intelligent white men aren’t in vogue, either.
